Family Solutions
Salus Psychological works with private clients and the leading rehabilitation centres throughout the UK to provide a range of expert direct treatment services to clients, including psychological treatment and assessment.
Clinical Psychologists who act as an Expert Witness for the Family Court, are required to assess for the psychological effects of family breakdown. As part of these assessments, recommendations are made to assist the court to have a greater understanding of what interventions may assist a family to remedy their situation. Family Therapy models may be a natural consideration in these matters; however, existing family therapy models support families to stay together, and often families who reach the attention of the Family Court do not wish to remain together. Therefore, an alternative recommendation which considers the presenting family breakdown needs of the family may assist. Family Solutions at Salus Psychological aims to support separated families find solutions to buffer the effects of family breakdown on its members.
Salus Psychological Services have set up a new service, “Family Solutions at Salus Psychological”, with remote or face to face sessions available.
